Please tell me that there is no way 'Less emissions' is right? I think it goes 'Less emissions, more brilliance' or something, don't know, I'm usually screaming by then.

Less with singular, fewer with plural. Less for an amount and fewer for a number.So it's fewer emissions. BUT there are exceptions because you wouldn't say 'fewer than four weeks to go' for example, would you?

The English language, eh? Pah!

Interesting point. Less than a week, less than four weeks. Hmm... Dunno, maybe it's because four weeks is sort of a single lump, DYSWIM? Unlike four pies, or similar.

Anyway, so I am NBU to want to sue car company for crimes against English, then?
