Am I out of the office until Friday, or Monday? Voicemail Dilemma

Just setting up my voicemails at work. I want to say, concisely and elegantly, when I am away. If I'm taking a week's holiday so Friday is the last day and I'm back in the office Monday morning, is it correct to say "I'm away from the office until Monday 5th January", or will that make people think Tuesday is the first day back.

If I'm away, say, on Thursday but back on Friday, it looks ambiguous to say "I'm away from the office until Friday". I guess I could use "returning on" but it's clumsy.

No, if you say you're on annual leave until Monday 5th January, that will mean you're back on Monday 5th January. Won't it?
