.. as in, people who admit to not being pedantic about grammar and spelling and stuff (weirdos).

Stumbled across this while looking up an old favourite website I haven't visited in a while. And was quite taken.

Biscuit spread? OMG.

I like the way they say is taste of biscuits in the same way peanut butter tastes of peanuts....except I dont think peanut butter tastes anything like peanuts. (Tastes of salt and oil, mainly)

So biscuit sandwiches, biscuits on crackers, biscuits on toast eurkkk.

But peanut butter does taste of peanuts. Especially if you have the no-added-sugar-etc stuff.

I like those caramelised biscuits. I'd try the spread. But the name rather worries me - at first glance I read it as 'Speculums' (and the inner pedant leapt up all bristling!).

Have you never had a biscuit sandwich? Something plain-ish, like a rich tea or digestive, between two slices of buttered bread. Mmmm - a sweet version of the chip butty.

No PC I've never had a biscuit sandwich, tho I've had cheese and butter sandwiched between 2 digestive biscuits.

I like the biscuits, the are called Speculatius in Germany, which I find really odd as the word is nothing like a german word, more like Roman?
