Has the word 'problem' been excised for failing to meet positivity guidelines?

And in any case, did I really experience it (whether problem, or issue)?

In my experience you should take issue with them over the experience that issued from their clumsy language. A shared experience of your issues with the phrase might issue in a better experience for customers with similar issues.

Yuk!

onebatmotherofNormanBates · 11/10/2008 21:37

where's Krueger?

flimflammum, precisely. It feels euphemistic, doesn't it? For 'issue', read 'involuntary opening of the bowels' or somesuch.

Had to take the costume off. Am terrible nailbiter and so had slashed my lips.

No. Really just absentmindedly left it off after silly namechange.

onebatmotherofNormanBates · 11/10/2008 22:49

Ahaa. That's half what I think when I see ladies with nail-jobs (that's not right, is it?) and children. And I worry about, erm.. personal hygiene tasks.

are you also Nightofthelivingthread, my dear?

I remember when I used to have nail extensions: self-gratification was a bit more difficult. As was nose-picking. Especially at the same time.

(sorry, as you were...)

onebatmotherofNormanBates · 11/10/2008 22:54

I knew I was thinking about more than "sanitary protection"..

Actually, now you've got me started. I still do loathe that 'protection' idea. Protection from the vile leakages of own female stinky scary body. Poor young girls.

As you were, as SGB says.

Oh now we are back on topic. The sanitary protection racket wants to protect you from experiencing an issue(ing).

onebatmotherofNormanBates · 11/10/2008 23:05

A tissue issue?

Threadworrm · 11/10/2008 23:06

bless you.

pushchair · 11/10/2008 23:08

Scratching head with nails filed to a point is dodgy as is nose picking. I did have several nose bleeds in the eighties

onebatmotherofNormanBates · 11/10/2008 23:38

Ow, pushchair. That sounds unpleasant.

(You notice she doesn't mention self-relief?)

Threadie, I was very much hoping you would say that.

FREAKING HECK!

It just happened again (I am kitting us all out online) and I discover I got it wrong!

They are sorry I faced an issue!!!

Now I want to kick shins!

You faced the issue, OBMNB? Did it itch? Did it squelch? Did it go blblblblblb?

ThreadieKrueger · 13/10/2008 09:50

Glad you faced up to it. Did you outface it? Did you turn the other cheek, or just the one?
