Normally I lurk in Pedant's corner, but I saw this today and had to bring it to your attention.

I was in a BHS restaurant today (I know, the shame... but my Mum really rates their macaroni cheese!) and on every table was a card about their ethically sourced hot drinks. What first caught my eye was;
"We want you to have piece of mind that the coffee you buy in Bhs ..."

Then I turned it over and read this;
"We now serve Britain's favourite hot chocolate in our Restaurant which tastes like heaven with whipped cream."

Discuss.

I brought the card home with me as evidence.

Oh no... not sad at all! Write to them! You could try to blag a free plate of macaroni cheese for your mum as an apology for spoiling your day.

lol at the idea my whole day was spoilt by their terrible grasp of the English language!
My initial reaction was "Wait until they see this in Pedant's corner!"

I wrote to BHS when DS received one of their colouring books for Christmas. "Rudolphs' colouring book"
I got a £5 voucher so worth a try.

you could start off 'i'd like to give you a peace of my mind'...
