Think of 'advise' and 'advice' to work out which it is.

Yes, I think you are right. In British English, I believe it is 's' when it is a verb and 'c' when it is a noun.

Agree it's with an 's' when it's the verb (the advise/advice thing is brilliant, JackieNo).

But I'd suggest getting rid of 'practised' altogether in that context, zippi - you've got those skills, you've not just practised them, right?

So, this could work:

well the actual job is project managing but requires and ability to get stuck in or sort of do that stuff they do at the end of changing rooms
