And dangerous, surely? What are the parents supposed to do - drop them into "the area" and stand back? Tsk.

Marvellous In fairness they're probably too busy catching rats to bother with accuracy.

(Actually it can't even be true, can it? Are these babies completely unsupervised?)

Are you getting worried about past participles at all? I feel there is a worrying trend to avoid using them properly. It's one of my preoccupations.
