I have just posted to a mailing list - and the automatic response was :

Your message will appear in xxxx momentarily.

I bl**dy hope is isn't momentarily - I want others to have a chance to read it.

This one really bugs me....

Bleeurgh. Not nice. But if it's an American list then possibly forgiveable - my Chambers dictionary says that 'momentarily' means:
'for a moment; every moment; at any moment (N Am).'

I don't care if it was an American site (google mail group so probably even though I went in through google.co.uk) - I don't like it
