Makes me want to cry when people (including train drivers) say this. It’s St Pancras!!!!!!
Grevious instead of grievous and mischievious instead of mischievous.

One always imagines a teenage Roman martyr pointing to his abdomen and saying 'It's pancreatitis!' (Before being behaeaded for his faith at the age of 14. Sorry, Pancras.)

The problem with St Pancras is that in this house it's always been known as St Pancreas, as a joke. Then it's difficult not to say the wrong one formally.

Yeah as a type 1 diabetic I do call it St Pancreas on purpose. Sorry!

I too am T1 and was embarrassingly pleased to hear it (firstly to judge, obviously) as I thought it was a great idea for a username. I didn't realise it was so commonly said, it was the first time I'd heard it.

The one that makes men lie flat on the floor? I joke, but DH has it, (age related) and I think I visibly winced when a healthcare worker pronounced it wrongly.

I used to work near St Pancras, and one of the fire safety notices in the office , officially ptinted and laminated, told you to exit to St Pancreas. Fortunately, they've demolished the entire building now, whuch was the only reasonable response...
