It sounds like someone speaking in an Aussie accent.

If people actually read books they'd see words in print.

Learning Latin helps, too.

I think people think words are just random collections of letters and don't think about their origins.

Yes it does sound like a written Australian accent. The person who wrote it is from Birmingham.

I think a lot of the time people just know what they want to say and take a run at it. I have to avoid the local pages on Facebook because, despite the fact that our local schools are actually very good, from the posts on there you would swear that nobody ever went.
