It's annoying to see it wrong so often.

depends whether you're talking about being bothered or a project that is done in phases really

fryalot · 17/06/2008 10:58

it depends.

If you are a bit wobbly then you may be fazed

But if you had got rid of something gradually, you would have phased it out...

MadBadandDangeroustoKnow · 17/06/2008 11:02

Like wot squonk sed.

Threadwormm · 17/06/2008 11:06

But note that if you are wobbly because of having been attacked by the weapon of a Star Trek crew member, you are phased.

SaintGeorge · 17/06/2008 11:12

Struck down by a nasty food poisoning bug, you could well be phaged.

Twiglett · 17/06/2008 12:18

hang on .. .I say it, Squonks repeats what I said and you say "Like what Squonk says"

I'm outphraged

fryalot · 17/06/2008 12:56

you've either got it, or you haven't, o light party snacky one

MadBadandDangeroustoKnow · 17/06/2008 14:28

Profuse apologies, Twiglett. Am new to pedants' corner so please be merciful. It was squonk's thread wot I could see as I typed my post. You did indeed say it first.

Piffle · 17/06/2008 17:17

I detest, loathe and actively rage when phased is used instead of fazed.
Possibly heads my top ten pet pedantic peeves.
