So which is correct -

You and me little bear, we'll tidy the bear cave together.

or

You and I little bear, we'll tidy the bear cave together.

If the latter, then the whole story (entitled You and Me Little Bear) is flawed.

Think it should be "you and I" but shouldn't there also be a comma and capitals for the name, i.e. "You and I, Little Bear, we'll tidy the bear cave together." (Not called "Pedants' Corner" for nothing

Yes I think you are entirely right, it is a shame because it is such a lovely story! It is one of those things that really bugs dh every time he reads it.

I laughed at my MIL's house when she asked 'who wants some cake?' and my children replied in chorus 'Me - oh - I mean I!!!'....
