OFGS Bought/brought

So many times this week already I have seen “brought” being used instead of “bought”.

What is it exactly about those two verbs that people can’t tell the difference?!

I know this one has been discussed a million times, I just needed an exasperated vent!

Agreed. Totally understand your exasperation!

It's not the verbs "to bring" and "to buy" that confuse people, though, is it? But yeah, I agree that it is annoying.

It's beyond tedious. The number of reviews I read where they're wittering on "I brought this last week and it's great..." If you buy it, you BOUGHT it.

Bumping, because it never goes away. Sigh....
