Just seen this on another thread

"I don't put myself on a pedal stool"

In place of "pedestal". Never seen this one before! Of course I didn't correct the poster, it was the OP and she sounded lovely. But I wanted to raise it here!

This mistake is on an episode of The IT Crowd. It's the one where Roy's massuer kisses him on the bottom.

🤣🤣 I haven't seen that (yet), but it's a new one to me too. It makes no grammatical sense although I guess in the context of the thread it is probably clear what is meant?

I mean this is just one of those things that people mishear so they write it incorrectly. But if people generally read more they wouldn't get it wrong. Sigh.
