Just that really.

Feeling devastated over a fairly bad haircut i got today. Had just started feeling pretty and decided to get layers cut into my hair. I am looking rather shorn and my formerly thick hair looks scraggly now. Looked fine as she was cutting it but half-curly hair is unpredictable when it dries.

Having to remind myself it's not the end of the world since it isn't. But I regret this decision ๐Ÿ’”

Tell me i need to buck up please ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Honestly I've got some sympathy for you. At 18, I had what were supposed to be long layers cut into my hair. The cut did not turn out well.

The main "buck up!" comment I can give us the hair will grow back.

Try any home hair styling that might distract from the new style in the meantime.

Iโ€™ve had the same experience so I do know how you feel. Any change takes a bit of getting used j I think did find that it looked better when I washed and dried it myself, and using a finishing product allows for further styling. For me itโ€™s good old fashioned gel, there may be better options for your hair. Mine always looks better a couple of weeks after it is cut.

Why have you posted this in pedants corner? Am I missing something cryptic here?

Itโ€™ll grow, taking a zinc supplement will speed it up.

I had a boss who mangled English regularly. He once said that we needed to close the door on a window of opportunity.

I think you should build a bridge and get over it.

You have my sympathy - I wanted a light fringe and ended up with 2 bits that sat either side of my face that looked ridiculous and that I couldn't do anything with other than clip back until the grew out. But grow out they did and my hair is now one length just below my chin and looking pretty good, even if I do say so myself.
It may just take a bit of time to get used to a different way of styling your hair, but at the end of the day it is just hair and of course it will grow out over time.

Don't be so pedantic.
