Has everyone seen they've renamed Pedants' Corner in Private Eye?

It's now called 'Pedantry Corner'.

I like it.

Why the change? Am I missing something...?

Maybe they couldn't agree where to put the apostrophe.

I think they should have a Paranoid Corner. In fact, I could have a paranoid corner. All of my own. Since no-one else would want to sit with me, 'cause they all hate me. Sniff.

Possibly because there are no actual pedants' in the corner, but simply it is a place for pedantry.

It was Ped'ants Corner. They'd had enough of the letters questioning the placing of the apostrophe . Pedantry Corner is a compromise.
