MindGenuis

On my computer at work there is a software package called MindGenius. Fuck knows what it is, some kind of mind-mapping rubbish I imagine. Anyway, every morning when I boot up I get a message to say that 'MindGenuis' is being installed.

FFS. I dislike my job at the best of times and this is just a constant reminder of how badly organised things are. It means I start every day at work with a contemptuous teenage eye-roll.

Very annoying. We have something that tracks where projects are, and on the login page, it says 'Forgotton your password?'. Annoys me every time.

We have an online purchase order system at work, and when the POs are printed out, they contain a line that is both misspelt and frigging ridiculous. I think the accounts people wanted to say 'please send in your work to xx', but were trying to sound posh. So what it actually says is:

'Fullfillment for xx'.

EH?

What's worse is that I'm an editor. And the purchase orders are generally for proofreaders. Who have no idea that I haven't typed the thing myself. I've tried complaining, but the accounts types don't understand what I'm making such a fuss about. Grrrrr.
