DS1 brought a star of the week certificate home a couple of months ago and I see it daily as it is on the kitchen wall,
Today I finally spotted

"Well done, your'e star of the week

Hope it was an office staff typo!!

I guess this is the wrong place to go throwing random commas around.

In addition to not being able to bold words.

Well, at least it wasn't your star of the week.

LynetteScavo · 28/05/2008 16:27

Should there be no comma?

What should it be fazak?

SraCellophane · 28/05/2008 16:31

Dare you to take it back in to school! Go on, Fatzak, you know you want to

DrippingLizzie · 28/05/2008 16:31

I recently received a document from our local LEA which contained about twenty misplaced apostrophes (lots of 'it's' instead of its).

If the education mandarin's can't get it right, what chance have our kid's got? Make's me so mad

SraCellophane · 28/05/2008 16:34

Dripping Lizzie - now THAT I would have sent back, mistakes highlighted in red, with a "must try harder" comment.

fatzak · 28/05/2008 16:37

It was my comma after wall that I slipped in by mistake LS!Should be "You're star of the week" I wonder if they just went for some kind of happy medium as they weren't sure if it was your or you're.

Sra Cellophane, you had a nationality change? I think I may just point it out to school
