I've seen n for and and b for the word be. Are we really getting so lazy we CBA to write words in full?

I did wonder, honestly, but I'm a very solemn person. As half the nation doesn't know its I from its me I don't feel bad about writing it out.

I just saw someone write Iv and I'm in the same post - here on Mumsnet, actually. I think people think Iv is an actual word and is the right word to use. Maybe they also write whov.
