"Like"

I mentally switch off people who constantly litter their speech with "like", but I've just discovered a first (for me, at least) on MN - a long post where just about every sentence contains that damned word. I just gave up and stopped reading.

Well, like, I know what you mean and it like annoys me quite a bit like, when I hear it, but I like haven't like seen it like written like in a post, you know, in like, any quantity.
I listen to the radio quite a lot and there have been times when, without anger or nastiness, I have wished that an interviewee could have listened to what he or she said and then had all the unnecessary words taken out and listened again.
