Once is unfortunate, twice looks like carelessness (or whatever the Wilde quote is)

twice looks like taking the piss! i wonder if it will change throughout the day as it did last time?!

castille · 18/04/2008 10:13

I think they are doing it on purpose

baltimore97 · 18/04/2008 13:52

Oooo, I was going to start a thread on this myself if there wasn't already one. I'm a university lecturer and this is one of the spelling mistakes that REALLY annoys me in my student's essays. Can't believe that the great and the good at Mumsnet have fallen into the same error!

baltimore97 · 18/04/2008 13:53

Oops that should be students' essays. But I am 39 wks pregnant...

StealthPolarBear · 18/04/2008 13:58

They're just doing it so we start threads about it!

bet this never happens on netmums

RoxyNotFoxy · 19/04/2008 10:49

But Mumsnet has no pretensions to literary expertise. On the other hand, there's a writer's forum called YouWriteOn where the admin people are continually posting sticky messages referring to "the amount of reviews".

RoxyNotFoxy · 19/04/2008 10:51

I meant writers', not writer's.
