It's within, not withing!

People who type 'withing' when they mean 'within'. I have never seen this mistake until the last week when I have seen it four times.
Is it just a typo or do they really think the word is 'withing'?

Withing? Is that even a word in its own right that could be a typo? I can't imagine someone logically thinking it was that. It's very clear, it means something inside something else, with-in. Maybe someone who's not got great English. Otherwise, Bizarre!

Never seen it, but I imagine it's an easy typo to make on a proper keyboard as words ending in -ing are so common.

I doubt anyone is stupid enough to type withing when they mean within so it must be a typo.

It's something I do simply by mistyping, particularly on a laptop with a proper keyboard, rather than a tablet or phone. My fingers go into autopilot and add the g to the in on the end of the word.

I didn't ask if anyone believed me. What an odd response!

I've seen it a couple of times on here and a couple of times on Facebook. Just because you haven't seen it, doesn't mean I'm lying 🤣
