avenanap · 19/03/2008 22:52

specialmagiclady · 19/03/2008 22:54

BroccoliSpears · 19/03/2008 22:56

It's origin isn't pretty plain to me.

Hear hear = I hear what you're saying? Everyone should hear this?

Here here = You will find agreement with that sentiment over here?

I've often wondered which was correct, and avoided writing it down in case I chose the wrong one.

OverMyDeadBody · 19/03/2008 22:58

Gald it wasn't just me broccoli!

OverMyDeadBody · 19/03/2008 22:58

TheDevilEatsNestle · 19/03/2008 23:05

I remembered a classic, a friend at uni used to say 'full and flank' all the time. She really thought that was correct.
pmsl.
