he is 9 tutter LOL
I reserve pedantic admonishment for those over 10 years of age. Unless they are my own children of course! DP despairs as he is not inclined to pedantry at all. But he does have redeeming features, he is a top speller and his text messages when courting, were correctly punctuated. So he is not entirely without merit in such things. Infact I also believe we've agreed about rogue or absent apostrophes in the past.

Never shop ANYHERE but Waitrose.........!

seeker · 18/03/2008 08:02

ANYWHERE - obviously!

(But Piffle, the WRITERS aren't 9, are they. And as we know children repeat what they hear on TV)

kiskideesameanoldmother · 18/03/2008 08:36

methinks you are paying way too close attention to C&L.

Piffle · 18/03/2008 09:17

The writer puts it into age appropriate child speak! My kids do not speak like that despite dd living and breathing everything Charlie and Lola.
It is not always a case of monkey see monkey do!

GrapefruitMoon · 18/03/2008 09:19

Charlie is not 9, he is 7

Anna8888 · 18/03/2008 09:21

Charlie and Lola are banned in our household for reasons of grammatical correctness.

We were only having this discussion last night with a friend who came for dinner...

suzywong · 18/03/2008 09:22

Bring me the Head of Cbeebies, and I'll have him Skull-F*cked!

That is just soooooooooooooooooo despicably lazy and crass.

Piffle · 18/03/2008 10:12

LOL I knew that. Bloody rogue iPod touch keyboard.

wilbur · 18/03/2008 10:14

Ha ha ha - we have that book and I always change it to "fewer". I am sooo sad.
