Argh!
I know this is only around for the next couple of weeks but really?

Aw, one of my kids used to call it that. Surely no adults do?!

GoodOldEmmaNess · 22/10/2023 07:48

One of my sons used to say that. It was really sweet. Never heard an adult do the same, presumably since it would quickly become obvious to them that it was a mishearing of the correct name.

On my local FB page. In total seriousness, asking for 'trickle treating' outfits for her kids.
I agree it's sweet when kids do it 😍

Noooo.

Reminds me of when DD was a tot and used to say Marks and Spensive.

My 8 yo DD calls it that 😁 I do her correct her, but its not sunk in yet.

Never heard an adult say it.

I like it! The treats come in a trickle at each doorway (although if you have a good neighbourhood it's a deluge by the end of the night Grin).

The other day I meant to say ‘drumroll’ but instead said ‘drumble’ as that’s what we say in our house after youngest DC who thought that’s what the word was.

GoodOldEmmaNess · 22/10/2023 13:00
