Trickle treating

Aw, one of my kids used to call it that. Surely no adults do?!

One of my sons used to say that. It was really sweet. Never heard an adult do the same, presumably since it would quickly become obvious to them that it was a mishearing of the correct name.

Reminds me of when DD was a tot and used to say Marks and Spensive.

My 8 yo DD calls it that 😁 I do her correct her, but its not sunk in yet.

I like it! The treats come in a trickle at each doorway (although if you have a good neighbourhood it's a deluge by the end of the night ).

The other day I meant to say ‘drumroll’ but instead said ‘drumble’ as that’s what we say in our house after youngest DC who thought that’s what the word was.
