Thanks Boysarelikedogs: I came to pedants' corner just to start the very same thread! Come on, mumsnet! I have always been impressed with your language use and verbal dexterity, but it seems to be going downhill. A few weeks ago there was a thread of the day which they referred to as being about "husbands who are kleptos" when it was not about husbands who steal, but husbands who hoard.
