People were paid to write "Want a peak at tomorrows exclusive advent deal?"

Over Christmas Currys sent me an email a day and each one was riddled with things that made me go grrrrr.

Missing apostrophes in 'todays' and 'tommorrows', extraneous apostrophes in 'iPod Nano's'... etc

Clearly, Currys aren't alone in not being able to spell or punctuate.

What annoys me most about such marketing emails is that several people were PAID GOOD MONEY to write, approve, design, proof, approve again and then sign-off on these poorly written emails.

Ok, rant over, I really need to lie down now.

or get that job. sounds like a plan.

I used to have it. Wrote and designed things for the Telegraph.

My plan, when I am old and crazy, is to carry a big bag of marker pens and walk around subbing adverts and signs.

Hey, we all need dreams.

Ikea need someone to sort their signage - it's full of mistakes.

I thought I'd do it for them, for free Ikea products. Reckon I'm onto a winner?
