"...gives me anxiety"

Heard on the radio (by the presenter) the other day and written online since. I found it jarring as I would typically say "x makes me anxious" instead.

Curious to know whether it would be grammatically correct to say "gives me anxiety".

Yes, I think it's correct. Anxiety is being used as a medical condition in this context, so it's similar to saying "x gives me high blood pressure" or something like that.

Yes, it is grammatically correct. Not particularly elegant, but not wrong.
