In a nutshell then, I love flags, they really interest me for all sorts of reasons and I have a few books on them. Apparently there is such a thing as flag etiquette eg. Flags should not really be horizontal but vertical but I'm willing to forgive this one as I can see the rationale on certain occasions.
BUT, and this is really getting my goat today, PM's wife outside No.10 wearing trousers and top to match Ukraine flag. Make it stop! I just find the mentally of ' let's make the flag of a war torn country a fashion statement' wrong. Support the country, wear a badge, wave a flag but please enough with the clothes.
