A NUS card or an NUS card?

An NUS card sounds right.

Which is it?

'An', because 'NUS' is pronounced 'en you ess'. If 'NUS' was pronounced 'nuss', it would be 'a'.

Think it's a, sure that an is used before a word starting with a vowel, but it does sound ok, sorry not much help
