My first time venturing into Pedants' corner, but I have finally cracked. I've seen this one too many times.
The past participle of the verb 'to text' is NOT 'text'. It is 'texted'. I texted her yesterday, he texted me, all those messages you've texted. Texted, texted, texted.
Not 'text'.
(Probably a lost cause. I see the first thread complaining about this dates back to 2011.)
