Bespoke Mirrors

A local firm claims to have the largest stock of bespoke mirrors on the Island.

Surely this can’t be right? If something is bespoke, by definition it can’t be stocked until it has been ordered and therefore you can’t build up a stock of these items?

You’re right. They can’t be bespoke if they have already been made and are in stock to buy “off the rack”

@OldTinHat spotted a sign outside a church today offering a ‘walm’ and friendly place to come have a cup of tea. Not sure if it’s a spelling mistake or a mixture of warm and calm?

I suppose the firm might have made so many sub-standard mirrors which were bespoken in the first place and the bespeakers saw them and said they wouldn't have them after all.
