Aloud and allowed

I am on a couple of Facebook groups for hobbies. It’s all people I don’t personally know. And I have noticed people constantly mixing these two words up. I see it in a few posts a day- different people. Normally saying aloud when it should be allowed. I can’t believe so many adults would get this wrong. I checked with my children and they are both primary school age and know the difference. Do you think it is just a predictive text thing?

I had hoped allowed/aloud would be in this collection www.theliterarygiftcompany.com/products/grammar-grumble-mugs-set

Maybe suggest it to them?

@Defiantly41
Love those mugs!
I see “loose” instead of “lose” a lot on here. And they don’t even sound the same.

Ha - just came on to say “loose” and “lose” annoys me more.

That site great for gifts for anyone who loves books and language. They sell the mugs individually too, I especially love the triples (to/two/too and their/they're/there).

I had never heard of that site
Thanks
