Apologies if this has already come up but has pooh (as in Winnie) started to mean the same as poo? Am I just a bit thick and this is right or has A.A. Milne started to infiltrate faecal matter?

No, it’s not the same.

The only other context is to “pooh-pooh” something (e.g. “my wonderful idea was pooh-poohed by the committee”).
