Which comes first !? or ?!

I get a bit muddled here. I usually use an exclamation mark, followed by a question mark. I noticed that our school librarian did it the other way, so now I'm really doubting myself.

It's ?! - it's called an interrobang. The question mark is the 'interro' bit, if that makes sense?

I just googled interrobang, and it's a combined symbol of both exclamation mark and question mark.
