Stop me from correcting my fil

I have to write here, otherwise I'm going to correct my fil on a group whatsapp. I have real itchy fingers to do it anyway!
He is talking about the weather and has written that in the shade it is autominal!!!!

I'd just find a reason to use the word 'autumnal' several times over the course of your next few messages, assuming that's what 'autominal' means?!

I heard an automated message on the GP's phone line this morning urging me to "see the pharmacist for minor alignments".

Assuming they mean ailments.

OP, you're a better woman than I am. My FIL just sent an email, Facebook post and FB message to just about everyone he knows asking them to help him with an event for prostrate cancer.

I do my best to ignore these things but I couldn't do it here, I had to send a message pointing out the error but hey, at least it was a private message rather than a comment on a public post. I don't think he appreciated it though.

Why not just reply back with something like "yes, it really looks like the end of summa" - treats it with humour, and if anyone questions it, you can say " started it!"
