Does anyone else wet their finger and rub out apostrophes that shouldn't be there on chalkboard? I get very cross when they turn out to have been painted on rather than done in chalk.
There was one this week selling "Ice cream's" and "Lolly's". I removed the apostrophes but ended up just as annoyed because there was nothing I could do about the Lollys instead of Lollies.
