How to get an essay to flow?

I don’t know if I’m in the right place here.
I’m on my 2nd year of an ou course. My first mini essay is due 9th November. I’m stuck. I just can’t seem to get the essay to flow properly. It doesn’t help that it’s only 1000 words and I’m trying to condense all my notes in to something understandable! I’ve got bullet points of what I need to include but when I try to type/write it out it’s jumping all over the place. Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Well 3 weeks later, spent 6 hours this evening . And my final draft is done . I have ripped myself to pieces on my strengths and weaknesses. Rewritten my introduction. Changed the structure of a paragraph and added points to my conclusion in response to my feedback. If I don't get more than 68 on this , I may cry.

Well done. That should really bolster your confidence.

Depends if i have done all the relevant reading or not. If i am well prepared it wouldn't take long. I like writing in the mornings so maybe two mornings of 2/2.5 hours each.
