Is this right?

Can you help me understand why please as it is bugging me.

(Ignoring the fact that I would much prefer it to say children's)

What's bugging you - is it men's? Because that is right (as children's would be)

If not that, what? Grin

So men's is right, is kids'?

Men is plural. Kid is singular.

Kids' is the equivalent of men's

Kid's would be the equivalent of Man's I.e referring to a singular man or kid rather than group

Yes, kids' is right too

If the plural of man was mans then the possessive would be mans' but because the plural men is a singular noun it becomes men's. Women's, children's & people's are the same.
