I've read a few different threads about queues where the 'spelling' cue and que has been used.
Can we send these people to the back of the line?

I always think of Manuel from Fawlty Towers when I see 'que'.

HesterLee · 04/08/2016 18:18

I just saw a "cue". I wanted to say something on the thread but realise that would make me an arse. So I'm glad to be able to grump about it here instead.

Queue is one that I can't ever get right. My dyslexia always draws a blank on it. Not sure why.

DesolateWaist · 04/08/2016 18:26

Queue is a bloody silly word really. It seems unnecessary to stuck the ue on the end.

I hadn't thought of that KittyandTeal. I'm glad I didn't say anything on the thread as I, obviously, don't know if it is a language, learning or other difficulty that is the reason for the error.

Queue does seem to be a word that is misspelt more and more though.

HesterLee · 04/08/2016 18:28

Maybe we should just use the letter :)

You can fuck off with that kind of talk Hester. I've already seen a u for you and r for are.
I do hope that someone pulls them to one side and has a quiet word.
