Apostrophe issue aside, why does want need to be like that? Seems an odd word to emphasise.

As well as the missing apostrophe in "daughters", the sentence should also read "son's", not son.

It sounds as if they are asking if you want to prepare for your son (his birth?) OR for your daughter's results day.
