Should I correct his grammar?

DS has written an interesting, detailed match report for his team's match on Sunday.
Unfortunately there are grammatical errors and a few spelling mistakes. I have already praised him for the content, as others have also done on the team's Facebook page.
Should I privately and kindly point out said errors for a 'learn for next time' example or let it go?

DS is a young year 10.

If it's already out there for everyone to see then I wouldn't. It would be a shame for the focus to be on mistakes rather than his hard work and content.

I'll do as suggested. It is a cracking match report (OK, I might be a tad biased )

It would be demoralising to have all one's grammar and spelling errors picked apart. Why not pick just one and talk it through with him (or make a note of it to raise at a later date)?

That way, it's not about making him feel bad about something's he already done, but taking an opportunity to learn one thing that might be useful in the future - a word or phrase that is likely to come up again.

Good idea dad. I think a general "apostrophe or not an apostrophe?" chat might be the best one to have.
