What kind of bias do you mean? I sew. Bias binding has been around for a long time.

It's everywhere.

I feel the same about 'cliche' as an adjective , which is also spreading like wildfire (sorry can't do accents on this gadget) but people seem more inclined to mount a defence of that one.
