I'm selling my house and, when signing the estate agency forms today, I noticed that they'd used "effect" instead of "affect". This agency has zero credibility now. WWYD? I want to say this is lighthearted but I'm currently showing no signs of getting over this matter...

If that's the worst your estate agency does, it's not so bad. Spelling and grammar are not prerequisites for being a good sales agent. I would focus on their ability to list the correct number of rooms, the correct sales price and other such things related to the selling of the house. I have experienced many real estate agents who can't even manage these basic tasks.

Easily done, given that "effect" can be a verb (although more common as a noun), and "affect" can be a noun (although more common as a verb). I'd agree with SofiaAmes provided the forms are not riddled with language errors, because that then might imply that they are generally sloppy and don't worry about checking things.
