Why do "offence" and "defence" end up underlined in red when typed into a MN post? Is it because MNHQ has an American spell check system installed and, if so, should not all dwellers in Pedants' Corner rise up and take offence in defence of our spellings?

Does MN have a spellchecker? Are you sure it's not just your internet browser's spellchecker?

CatWithKittens · 11/08/2015 15:42

Ah - that could be the answer; in which case my profound apologies to MNHQ Blush

Yes, MN doesn't have a spell checker

You can change your browsers settings to British English though

If MN had a spell checker, Pedants' Corner would have little on which to comment Grin . If MN does gave a spell checker, then I'm afraid it really isn't working!

Well, not all. Some dwellers are American. Smile
