Not sure if anyone can help with this but I hope someone can. I studied English at university so can write well and understand a lot about language, but it mainly studied literature and not in depth about the rules of language. I write with good grammar and punctuation and can recognise mistakes, but I can't explain it to people. What I mean is that although I understand the basics of what a verb, noun and adjective are, I can't really go much further than that. I don't understand terms like subjunctives and clauses and can't explain why something should be written in a certain way etc.
Do any of you know any good online courses where I could learn about the correct terms in which to explain it all?
