I've sent a report to someone for comment and they've sent it back to me with the pages 'stuck together', that is without a bit of space between the separate pages it's just a continuous white with a line where the page breaks are. This means that the headers & footers can't be seen. I know that there's an easy way to get them back to normal-looking pages but can't for the life of me remember how to do it. Any ideas?

It's in the view tab - change from draft to print preview!

Do you have a 'close outline view' option?

In Word 2010 click on the View tab and select print layout.

I've tried pressing all of the above but then suddenly found it - I don't know how it works but you just click on Margins and it shoots it back to normal. Why the bastards sorry had to change it I don't know. The funny thing is that if I click on Margins & try to do it the other way round (get rid of them) it doesn't work!

Anyway, thank you all. I struggled with it so did DH for ages and I knew that as soon as I asked you all then I'd find it. Grin

Yeah, it's called show/hide whitespace. The cursor changes shape when you move over the edge of the page in Print layout.
