Sochi

Can someone tell the BBC presenters how to pronounce this correctly please? It's a 'ch' not a 'sh' and a short 'o'.

I come from Sochi and say it as sawhchi (like saw but closer to the short o). I've heard someone say it a sowchi (as in to sow/sowing).

Exactly, not So-shi!
