Annoying radio presenters: "On the text" and "on the Twitter"

As I spend 2 hours a day listening to these witterers, I'm getting sooo sick of hearing several presenters on different stations (Magic, Heart, Radio 2 etc.) say "so-and-so on the text" and "so-and-so has just posted this on the Twitter" or "like us on the Facebook" aaargh!!

Surely this is very wrong?

I'd say 'by text' and 'on Facebook (or Twitter). I'd put on a CD, too.
