You don't even...?
I have seen this creeping up all over the Internet - usually to indicate that somebody cannot entertain the very possibility of such an idea.
I find it grating and lazy. It's bearable if it has ellipsis to indicate an unfinished sentence, as if the writer has just given up hope of finishing it off, but I often see it ended with a rather abrupt full stop.
Anybody else noticed this?
